Stackable Trays

Industrial trays and stackable trays (also known as poly trays) are stackable plastic trays designed for the organised storage and safe transport of jewellery and individual components. Kling offers them specifically for use in the jewellery, watchmaking, industrial, automotive and retail sectors.

The stackable trays are made from sturdy, easy-to-clean polystyrene and are available in thermoformed or injection-moulded versions in a range of heights and colours. When used with matching inserts, they can be adapted to suit different products, compartment layouts and workflows.

For stackable trays, Kling offers standard foam inserts with various compartment configurations. Depending on the product, smooth or flocked surfaces are available. You can find further standard designs in our catalogues and downloads.

Kling also manufactures customised foam inserts subject to minimum order quantities. The compartment size, number of compartments, material thickness and surface finish are precisely tailored to the respective products, subject to the relevant minimum order quantity. Requirements regarding retrieval, storage and transport protection are also taken into account during the design process.

In addition to permanently fitted inserts, removable workpiece carriers are also available. Flocked surfaces are particularly suitable for sensitive products, whilst smooth inserts offer advantages for robust components and those requiring regular cleaning.

Kling offers a range of inserts with different compartment layouts for stackable trays. The standard range includes, for example, velour-lined inserts with various compartment layouts, or the 3062 model with 72 compartments. These allow jewellery, small items and other products to be organised clearly and stored securely.

The combination of a sturdy external tray and a matching insert enables secure, organised and space-saving storage. As the trays are stackable, existing storage space can be used efficiently, while different compartment layouts allow for clear organisation by product, size or collection. Thanks to the range of colours available, the trays can be easily sorted and stacked on the storage shelves.

Yes. One of Kling’s key areas of expertise is the individual manufacture of inserts. In addition to standard layouts, Kling develops inserts tailored precisely to the product, its dimensions and intended use – for example, made from foam or featuring removable product carriers. Customised designs are also available for applications in the automotive and industrial sectors.
